The Ontario District is one of the seventeen districts of the Barbershop Harmony Society, the world's largest all-male a cappella singing organization, and is the only all-Canadian district. It is committed to serving and supporting its 33 barbershop chapters, over 60 quartets, and over 1200 members throughout Ontario, and it is committed to promoting the Society's mission of bringing men together in fellowship and harmony to enrich lives through singing. Member choruses and quartets are encouraged to perform throughout their communities in support of worthwhile civic, cultural, educational, and charitable endeavors.

Barbershopper Honoured with Governor General's Award

Doug Procter, former science teacher at Seaforth District High School and 28-year barbershopper, was one of the 30 recipients from across Canada who recieved the Governor General’s Caring Canadian Award at the Governor General's residence on October 6, 2015. He was nominated by the Men’s PROBUS Club of Grand Bend where he now resides and served as secretary of the club for the past 11 years. Bob is a member of the Seaforth Harmony Kings barbershop chorus.

Ontario Quartet Event 2015

Harmony Ranch was a-buzz on August 8th as over 60 barbershoppers parachuted in to participate in the Ontario Quartet Event from as far away as British Columbia and Michigan, representing 17 chapters. Harmony Ranch provided an idyllic venue for the OQE.
