President Bush signs letter to Ed Davis
By Ron Madill, St.Thomas Chapter member
Ed Davis, a member of Harmony Ranch, was awarded three pins — gold, silver and bronze — on January 5, 2005, at Zephyrhills Police Department in Florida where Ed spends his winters.
The past few years, Ed has volunteered with the local Police Department of Zephyrhills, going to many of the mobile home parks to speak on crime prevention, frauds, identity theft, etc. to the residents. Also, during this time he has attended over 25 seminars.
No one has completed as many hours as Ed, thus the triple pins award, with letters signed by President Bush. His supervisors, Russell Barnes and Ken Gray presented the awards.
Ed enjoys singing with the Harmony Hills Chorus of Zephyrhills from October to April, spending his summers at Harmony Ranch in Ontario.
Congratulations, Ed Davis!
