Jim Beetham
1924—2005
By Chris, Dave and Janis Beetham
It is with great sadness that we announce the Passing of our father, Jim Beetham, on Tuesday, October11, 2005, at Southlake Hospital in Newmarket.
He was in his 81st year. For any of you that don’t know him, he has been a Barbershopper since 1959, beginning with the Scarborough Dukes of Harmony from about 1959-1985.
He also was a member of the Markham Men of Harmony and a member of the Newmarket Chorus. Jim was also a member of the Suburbanaires Seniors Chorus to the present.
You can’t put it into words, how you feel during a time like this, all you can do is, thank God that we were able to share in the years that were given and don’t take life or God for granted.
A celebration service was held at the Westminster United Church in Whitby on Saturday, October15, 2005.
Memorial donations can be made to Harmonize for Speech or the charity of your choice. k
