OOPS

In the last issue, I credited Bernie Lynch as having been the author of the article “A Vocal Celebration” when it actually was written by Ron Dodge.

As explanation, nearly all people send their articles to me in the body of the e-mail (which I prefer). When messages arrive, I usually save the e-mail in the next issue folder.  That then gives me the sender’s name when I prepare the article.

However, if you send it as an attachment and don’t put your name in the article as the author, when I save the attachment in the folder, I have to later try and figure out who wrote it.  This time I guessed wrong.

While I am at it, I sometimes do not include articles that were sent as attachments because the title of the attachment is something like “Report for Trillium” or “Trillium article” or something similar.  So when I save a few of these, they always write over the previous one.

Of course, there is an easy solution and that is to give your article an actual title to make it easier to include it in the next issue.  Just a suggestion.  Regardless, keep those fine articles and information coming and I’ll try to get them in correctly.     k
