Sound Association says thanks
By Ken Fisher
Dear Ontario District:
I am writing on behalf of Sound Association Quartet to thank you for the support you gave us at the midwinter convention in Sacramento last January. The Ontario District is great.
Our spirits and state of mind were lifted by your words and cards of support.
The financial support was wonderful. As a first-time International quartet competitor I was surprised and delighted at the significance of this funding in the success of the quartet. It did far more than just defray costs. It allowed the quartet to free up mental and physical energy to focus on the contest performance.
This benefit actually started weeks prior to the contest. In Sacramento, it allowed for the quartet to spend a lot of time together immediately prior to the contest. This is a key element in continuing the growth of the quartet unity and confidence.
Lastly, the funds are a tangible expression of the support all of us competitors feel from our barbershop brothers in Ontario. Competing is a lot easier when you know that your brothers are with you in spirit.
Yours in Harmony,
Sound Association Quartet
