Golden Horseshoe chorus starting again
By George Staples, Peninsula Division Co-ordinator
The Peninsula Division would like to express our thanks to our representatives in Indy. The Toronto Northern Lights, MegaCity Chorus, The Fixx and Chameleon. They all did a great job in representing the Ontario District.
The Golden Horseshoe Chorus will begin on September 7, 2006 at 1 p.m. in the Administration Building at the Royal Botanical Gardens. Any men who like to sing and ring a chord are welcome.
Grimsby
During the summer months the chorus has been gathering at various members back yards to enjoy “Bug and Beer” nights. Regular practice will begin in early September.
The chorus is excited about an extensive recruitment campaign. Part of the campaign will be a free Christmas Concert. The concert will be on December 5 and the request will be made to the public to make a donation to the Hospital or the Benevolent Society.
Installation of officers is planned for November 28, 2006.
