Strathroy Chapter
receives grant from
The Ontario
Trillium Foundation
The Strathroy Chapter proudly announced the recent receipt of a cheque for $29,100 from The Ontario Trillium Foundation. The funds will be used for the purchase of new uniforms; vocal, sound and stage equipment to enhance chorus quality. This will encourage membership among local male singers to participate with the group in the barbershop harmony style of singing for community and Ontario District functions.
The Ontario Trillium Foundation, an agency of the Ontario Ministry of Culture, annually receives $100 million of government funding generated through Ontario’s charity casino initiative. The Foundation allocates grants to eligible charitable and non-for-profit organizations in the arts and culture, environment, human and social services and sport and recreation sectors.
