2006 Larry Dale Coach of the Year nominations
By Jamie Marr, District VP Music and Performance
There is a direct correlation between the success of a quartet or a chorus and that of their coach. These days, more and more quartets and choruses are seeking the expertise of an outside party to help them raise the level of their performance.
The Larry Dale Coach of the Year Trophy is given annually at the spring convention to an individual who has “shown outstanding musical talent, who has given generously of their time and who has done so in an unassuming manner.”
Every quartet, as well as every chapter, has the opportunity to submit the name of an individual who has fulfilled the ideal that Larry Dale epitomized.
If you would like to nominate an individual for this award, kindly submit their name, a short resume as to why they deserve the award and then sign it on behalf of your quartet or chorus.
Submissions are to be directed to Jamie Marr, district VP music and performance on or before March 25, 2007. k
