Bob Solley

1920—2006

Bob Solley, a long time member of the Dukes, passed away on New years Eve, at age 86. Bob had been ill for some time, but about four weeks ago he had a stroke from which he did not recover. Bob was cremated. There wasn’t a memorial service.

Ron Solley, Bob’s son, and family will be having a reception at his home, on both Saturday and Sunday, from  3 - 8 p.m..  Saturday mostly for family members and close friends. Sunday mostly for Barbershoppers. I talked with Don (Bob’s brother) and suggested the Sunday visitation because many of us will be at COTS.         k
