George Roy Munger

1921—2007

George Munger, in his 86th year, a 44-year Barbershopper and most recently a member of the Thornhill Chapter, passed away in Barrie in February, 2007.

He served in the Royal Canadian Navy from 1943 to 1945. After the war he returned to Toronto and opened his own business which he operated successfully for many years. He was an active member of SPEBSQSA, serving as president of the Toronto Chapter in 1968. He also was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion.

A Celebration of Life was held at the Roberta Place Retirement Lodge in Barrie on February 23, 2007. In memory of George, donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated.         k
