Hugo DeWinter

1939—2006

Hugo DeWinter passed away after a lengthy illness, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on  December 21, 2006, at the age of 67 years.

Many of the longtime members of the district will remember Hugo DeWinter, a former member of the Guelph Chapter and their director for 25 years. The family requested that the Barbershoppers sing one of Hugo’s favourite songs, “I Believe” at the funeral. A number of Barbershoppers joined the Guelph Chapter Royal City Ambassadors in paying tribute to Hugo, a longtime Barbershopper.

Hugo was predeceased by his wife Janice (Knowles).         k
