HELP WANTED

By Chuck Alexander, Ontario District President

After over 20 years of service to the district, Bruce Marchant has stepped down from running our Barbershop Shop. Marchant’s School Sport Ltd., Bruce’s company, has just undergone a major expansion project and all of his attention must be directed to his corporate obligations.

On behalf of the district, I wish to take this opportunity to thank Bruce for his dedication over all these years. He, his volunteers from the Scarborough and TNL chapters as well as family members, transported the Barbershop Shop merchandise to all of the annual district events like COTS and the two annual district conventions.

Bruce, on many occasions, provided special garments for these events which our International guests proudly wear at Society gatherings. Thanks ever so much, Bruce. We wish you all the best on your business endeavours.

The district is seeking someone with retail knowledge and background who would be willing to order merchandise from our headquarters, maintain the inventory on a year-round basis and transport the goods to and from major district events.

If you are interested and willing to provide the district with this valuable service, kindly contact me at president @ ontariodistrict.com or by calling me at (705) 325-5694.     k
