Ed Arnold

1943 — 2007

Ed Arnold passed away May 15, 2007, after a brief fight with cancer. We will all miss him very much. A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Ed was held on May 26 at 1 p.m. at the First United Church in Waterloo.

Ed was a long-time employee of Canbar Industries of Waterloo and Strassburger Windows. He was a member of the Twin-City Harmonizers and the Toronto Northern Lights barbershop choruses as well as Harmony Ranch. He was also a long-time member of the St. Peter’s Lutheran Church choir.

All Barbershoppers were invited to be part of a mass chorus that sang “I Believe” and “How Great Thou Art.”

A reception followed the service at the Erb & Good Funeral Home one block away.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ed Arnold Scholarship through Sing Canada Harmony / Harmony Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.         k
