George Rendle, a 53-year Society member, passed away at home May 12, 2007. George was one of those quiet individuals who, when given a job to do, did it without complaining and you could be sure it was done right.

Beloved husband for 62 years of Lorraine. Loving father of Paul and Janet. George worked with 3M Canada for 42-1/2 years and was a member of the London Men of Accord Barbershoppers for 53 years.

At George’s request there will be no funeral. A memorial service was held at Colborne St. United Church, London, on May 18, 2007, at 11 a.m.. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Colborne St. United Church, the Canadian Cancer Society, or the Harmonize For Speech Fund would be gratefully acknowledged.         k
