The Trillium, published quarterly, is mailed in April, June, October, and December, and is the official magazine of the Ontario District Association of Chapters, of the Barbershop Harmony Society (SPEBSQSA). Deadline for submission of articles is listed in the coming events column. A portion of each member’s dues is allocated to cover the periodical’s subscription price.

Submitted letters, articles and other works and materials may be used, published, distributed and stored by The Trillium, in whole or in part in print or by any other means. The editor reserves the right to reject any materials and edit all articles published.

Under Canadian law, copyright restrictions apply. Permission is granted to other barbershop publications to use materials provided proper credit is given and the material used was original to The Trillium.

How to submit articles

If using e-mail, the address is <trillium @ ontariodistrict.com> and it is the fastest method of sending articles. Send typewritten articles to the editor/publisher. Good quality photographs with a good contrast may also be accepted for articles. Be certain to identify all the people in the photograph.

Change of Address

Address labels are supplied by the Society’s international office. All address changes should be relayed through your chapter secretary to the Society’s international office in Kenosha, Wisconsin, USA. Do not send change of addresses to the editor.

Advertising rates for camera-ready copy

All advertisements must be camera-ready. Send camera-ready copy and artwork for advertisement, along with payment, to the editor/publisher.

Full page              $175 / issue, $265 / issue,
Half page               $90 / issue, $135 / issue,
Quarter page         $45 / issue,   $70 / issue

All advertisements must be paid in advance.

Make cheques payable to the Ontario District, SPEBSQSA
                and submit with advertisement to the editor.

Subscription rate: In Canada, $10 / year.
