An Historic Year!

Ontario is proud to not only be hosting this years International Barbershop Convention for the first time in 50 years, but also to have qualified more quartets that ever before in our history. Here's a look at the four quartets, two collegiate quartets, and the chorus representing our district in competition this July.

Chameleon

Rubicon

Quantum

After being together for 5 months and also being a long distance quartet, Quantum was overjoyed to qualify for the international convention in Toronto this July. The fact that this is a "home" convention and that it is also the 75th anniversary of BHS is a phenomenal circumstance that makes our first time on international stage significantly more special.

We are also honoured to share the stage with Chameleon, Rubicon, Shaken Not Stirred, ‘Shoptimus Prime & Pitch, Please! We wish them the best.

Thank you Ontario for your warm welcome and support. We feel truly blessed to be a part of this District.

Looking forward to see you at the Air Canada Center!

Shaken Not Stirred

Shaken Not Stirred was ecstatic to hear we had earned an invitation to compete at the International contest and 75th Anniversary of the Barbershop Harmony Society to be held in Toronto this July. We’re proud to share the stage at the “Big Show” with no less that 5 Ontario District Quartet
representatives. Our representation this year shows the depth and diversity of talent that we’re so lucky have in our district.
We want to wish our fellow quartet competitors (Chameleon, Rubicon, Quantum, ‘Shoptimus Prime & Pitch, Please!) all the very best in competition this July. In addition, the Toronto Northern Lights will be back on contest stage to share another unique experience with all of their Barbershop friends from around the world. 2013 promises to be a milestone in Ontario District’s history.
Shaken Not Stirred would like to take this opportunity to “Thank” Ontario District for all the support you’ve shown us over the last number of years.
We can’t wait to perform at the Air Canada Centre…the largest stage Barbershop Harmony has to offer.
See you in Toronto!

'Shoptimus Prime

'Shoptimus Prime is thrilled to have qualified for the International Collegiate Quartet Contest for our second year in a row. Since our 10th place finish in last year's contest we've had quite a year performing on chapter shows, helping lead barbershop workshops and camps, and winning the Ontario District Quartet Contest in October. We would like to thank the district for the overwhelming support that 'Shoptimus Prime quartet has recieved since we formed two years ago. We can't wait to help welcome the other collegiate competitors and all convention guests when the convention returns to the Ontario District this summer. Let's bust a chord!
